Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your device for repair to Fone Click Chichester, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Diagnostic and Inspection

We offer basic diagnostic services free of charge unless otherwise stated.

A non refundable inspection fee may apply if you choose not to proceed with the repair after diagnosis.

Estimated repair cost and turnaround time will always be confirmed before any work begins.

No Fix No Fee Policy

If we are unable to repair the reported issue, no labour charges will apply.

Any diagnostic or inspection fee, where applicable, will still be payable.

Repair Authorisation

By submitting your device, you authorise Fone Click Chichester to carry out diagnostics and repairs.

You confirm that you are the legal owner of the device or have full permission from the owner.

Data and Privacy

Customers are fully responsible for backing up their data before repair.

We are not liable for any data loss, corruption, or privacy breaches during the repair process.

We recommend removing personal data and disabling passwords where possible. Devices may be reset if required for repair.

Repair Warranty

All repairs include a 90 day limited warranty covering the replaced part and the specific fault repaired.

Important Warranty Conditions:

  • Any warranty related issue must be reported within 14 days of repair completion
  • The device must be returned to Fone Click Chichester within this 14 day period for inspection
  • This allows us to process claims with our parts supplier where applicable

Physical Damage Policy:

  • Any visible physical damage including cracks, pressure marks, or impact damage will void the warranty immediately
  • This includes internal hairline cracks or display damage identified during inspection

This warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage after repair including drops or impact
  • Liquid damage after repair
  • Screen damage such as cracks, lines, or blackouts after collection
  • Issues caused by misuse or mishandling
  • Software related faults or updates
  • Any unrelated faults not originally reported
  • Devices opened or repaired by a third party after our service

Customers must inspect their device before leaving the store. Any issues must be reported immediately.

Clarification:
If damage is found to be caused by external force or impact after collection, the repair will not be covered under warranty and will be treated as a new repair.

Replacement Parts

We use high quality OEM or compatible parts depending on availability and customer preference.

Genuine parts can be requested where available and may carry an additional cost.

Screen and Feature Disclaimer

Certain repairs may affect device features such as Face ID, fingerprint sensors, True Tone, or display calibration depending on the model and part used.

We will inform you where this risk applies.

Water Resistance Disclaimer

Devices that are opened for repair may lose their original water and dust resistance.

We cannot guarantee water resistance after any repair.

Turnaround Time

We aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible.

All timeframes are estimates and may vary due to parts availability or technical complexity.

We are not liable for delays caused by third party suppliers.

Price Match Promise

We aim to match or beat any like for like written quotation from a UK based repair provider.

The comparison must be for the same device model, repair type, and part quality.

Device Condition and Risk

Devices may have pre existing or hidden faults.

We are not responsible for issues that arise due to underlying internal damage during or after repair.

Accessories and SIM Cards

Customers must remove SIM cards, memory cards, and personal accessories before submitting a device.

We are not responsible for any loss of these items.

Unclaimed Devices

Devices not collected within 60 days of completion will be considered abandoned.

We will attempt to contact you before taking action.

After this period, the device may be resold, recycled, or disposed of to recover repair costs.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon collection of the device.

We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfer.

Deposits may be required for special orders or high value parts.

Limitation of Liability

Fone Click Chichester is not responsible for:

  • Pre existing damage
  • Additional faults discovered during repair
  • Data loss during service

Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the repair service.

Manufacturer Warranty Disclaimer

Repairs carried out by Fone Click Chichester may void your manufacturer warranty.

It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm this before proceeding.

Software Services

We are not responsible for unlicensed software or data loss resulting from system restores, updates, or virus removal.

Customers must ensure all software is properly licensed.

Collection Policy

Proof of collection such as receipt or valid ID may be required before releasing the device.

Customer Consent

By submitting your device or signing our service form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Changes to Terms

Fone Click Chichester reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available in store and on our website.

Device Collection and Storage Policy

Once your device repair is completed, you will be notified via call or message.

Collection Terms:

  • Devices must be collected within 14 days of notification

Late Collection Charges:

  • After 14 days, a storage fee of £3.75 per day will apply
  • This applies for a maximum period of 30 days from repair completion

Extended Non Collection:

  • If the device is not collected within 30 days, an additional £50 storage and handling fee will be applied
  • Daily storage charges will continue to apply beyond this period

Liability Disclaimer:

  • After 30 days, Fone Click Chichester is not responsible for the condition, security, or availability of the device
  • Devices may be disposed of, recycled, or resold to recover costs
